This lecture will focus on the rewards of following a calling. Joseph Campbell showed us how ancient stories transmit hidden resources. This evening will reflect on how emerging knowledge is revealed at each stage of identity formation. Dr. Young will consider the implications of a personal paradigm shift, and discuss the transformational quest.
Speaker bio:
Jonathan Young is a psychologist and storyteller who assisted mythologist Joseph Campbell at seminars and was the Founding Curator of the Joseph Campbell Archives and Library. He is also contributing producer and featured commentator on the Ancient Aliens television series. His books and articles focus on personal mythology. Dr. Young is on the faculty of the University of Philosophical Research.
